Teacher from various subjects such as chemistry, physics, mathematics, accountancy, environmental science, literature have presented their research work on this platform.

2016-17

1) Dr. Surendra Pandey presented a talk on the paper titled:  “Polystyrene Based Nanocomposite Fabrication And Characterization which was  presented at International Conference on Nanosciences and Nanotechnology (ICNN) in  2013 at BBA University, Lucknow, India.(Presented on : 03-09-2016)

2) Dr. G.V.V. Hemasunder  presented a talk on the paper titled “Families of Compact Riemann   Surfaces” published in  Houston Journal of Mathematics,  Vol. 41, No.3, 2015, 727-731.The above paper was presented at the International Conference On Perspectives of Modern Complex Analysis held at the Banach Centre, Bedlewo, Poland from July 21 to July 25, 2014.(Presented on : 03-09-2016)

3) Dr. Satish M. Bhalekar presented a talk on the

i) Paper titled:“Synthesis and Biological activity of 4-(4-bromophenyl)-2-[4-(arylhydrazono-3- methyl-5-(5-bromopyridin-2-yl) imino- 4,5-dihydro pyrazol-1-yl] -1,3-thiazol derivatives” published in J. Chem. Sci. : 13(4), 2015,1844 – 1848. (ISSN 0972-768X)

ii) Poster titled:

“Energy minimized structure of some novel molecules obtained by scanning the molecules  by computer perspective views” which was presented in the National Seminar on “Recent Developements in Chemical and Material Sciences”organized by Dapoli Urban Bank Senior Science College, Dapoli, Dist. Ratnagiri Maharashtra on 5^th and 6^th February 2016 (Presented on : 03-09-2016)

4)  Dr. Swapnesh Ranganekar presented a talk on the paper titled:“The study of response of butterflies to   climatic changes in South Garo Hills,Meghalaya, India which was published in Bionano Frontier, special Issue 9, P. No. 236-538.(ISSN 0974-0678 (Presented on : 01-10-2016)

 

 

2018-19

1) Dr. Sunita Shirvalkar gave a resentation on ‘Heavy metal analysis of vitex negundo(L) and tinospora condifolia’. During this presentation, the anti malarial properties the abovementioned herbs were discussed. (Date of Presentation: 06-01-2018)

2) Dr. Asha Mathew gave a presentation on ‘Chemical speciation and spectrophotometric determination of some lanthanides by complexing with 1-(2pyridylazo)-2-naphthol in aqueous micellar media’. (Date of Presentation: 06-01-2018)

3) The topic of Dr. Rama Vijaykumar presentation was ‘Indian Contribution to Mathematics in Relation to Aryabhata & Brahmagupta’. During this presentation, she discussed the trignometrical work of Aryabhata and Brahmagupta from the treatise Aryabhatiya  and Brahmasphuta Siddhanta. (Date of Presentation: 03-02-2018)

4) Mr. Vaibhav Banjan (won  second prize at Avishkar 2018), gave a presentation on  ‘Start up India Initiative: Awareness amongst Management students and its influence on entrepreneurship’. During this presentation, he discussed the features of start up India initiative, awareness amongst Management students in Mumbai and its influences on entrepreneurship. 2019-20

1) Mrs. Kirti Y. Nakhare made a presentation based on her Ph.D. thesis titled ‘A Study of the Subaltern in Select Works based on the Mahabharata’.

The presentation comprised detailed presentation of the seven chapters that form the thesis. It began with the introductory chapter, followed by the chapter dealing with subaltern theory. The bodies of subaltern women as sites of protest formed the crux of the next chapter. The traditional versions of the said epic and the place of the subaltern in it was discussed, followed by the ‘Other’ in the epic. The presentation concluded with the last chapter of the thesis wherein Duryodhana is studied as an anti-hero.

 

The committee of the college will continue to plan such endeavors for the welfare of the staff.
