About the Department of Business Law
The Department of Business Law engages lectures for Undergraduate course of S.Y.B.Com., in the subject of Business Law, as per the syllabus prescribed by the University of Mumbai.

Objectives
- The department provides an in-depth knowledge to students in the prevailing commercial laws in India with recent amendments. It has been a constant endeavor to make the students law abiding citizens by inculcating discipline, ethics and value education.
- The goal of our law teacher is to use the teaching methods that most effectively and efficiently achieve desired educational objectives, employ context based instruction throughout the program of instruction and employ best practices when using any instructional methodology.
- Apart from traditional class room lectures, we conduct moot-court and debate among the students to involve them with utmost interest. Students are encouraged to read news papers and come out with news paper/magazine cutting on recent case studies so that the students are conversant with recent development in the legal field.
- The curriculum of Business Law I & II covers the basic commercial aspects, corporate laws and intellectual property rights, which are professional subjects with practical applications. Sincere efforts are taken to provide the highest standard of learning to students and shape them to aspire to take advance studies and face career challenges.

In order to produce competent and committed professionals, we stress on curriculum enrichment, innovative
delivery of instruction and assessment of student learning as a regular practice. Our commitment is towards
the overall development of students i.e., personality development; values enrichment; sense of social
responsibility, justice and wisdom.
We apply diversified methods for delivering instruction and suitable evaluation method to assess intended
outcomes on our academic programme to enhance the students to retain the information and easily retrieve it
to apply at appropriate time. The Business Law subject is core for every stream of higher studies as well as
managerial position of any industries in the country and abroad as well.
