About The Conference

Industry and academia are like two peas in a pod. The National Education Policy
2020 has mandated to provide students with opportunities for internships with local industry, businesses, artists, craftspeople, etc. as well as research internships with faculty and researchers at their own or other HEIs/research institutions, to ensure students are actively engaged with the practical side of their learning which would further contribute towards improving their employability. Bearing this in mind, the seminar titled ‘Industry-Academia Connect-An Exploration’ , contemplates at having nuanced and fruitful deliberations on the role that these entities play in impacting the overall development of students while providing with adequate exposure.

The conference largely aims at prodding individuals to think of integrating various perspectives with an emphasis on the industry-academia connection impacting every arena of life.
