About the Committee
The examination process being one of the most significant aspect of the Teaching-Learning process, is planned very meticulously and in accordance with the guidelines of the University of Mumbai. The present examination system is a Choice Based Credit and Grading System (CBCGS) as per the rules framed by the University of Mumbai from time to time.
The college exam committee comprises of faculty members from the aided section and self-financing courses (Commerce and Science). The tentative Examination schedule for all courses is planned in consultation with the Principal and Vice Principals, taking into consideration, curricular and extracurricular activities throughout the year. This enables the faculty to plan their teaching schedule, so as to complete the syllabi well in advance. It also helps students to balance between academics, extracurricular and co-curricular activities.
The Internal examination for self-financing courses is conducted in various modes like Class tests, Computer based examination and Project-Viva based presentation. The Practical examination for various Science courses are conducted as per the guidelines issued by the respective Boards of Studies.
Results of these examinations are processed in-house and declared within the mandatory 45 days.
